We are excited to invite you to Experience PACE: A Day in the LIFE—an immersive event that offers a firsthand look at the PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) program, with a special focus on our own PACE Your LIFE center in Milford. Join us at 21 W. Clarke Ave., Suite 1010, Milford, DE, on [Event Date], to learn how PACE is transforming the way older adults receive care and support.

PACE is a national program designed to provide comprehensive medical and social services to older adults who qualify for nursing home care but wish to live independently in their own homes. With a focus on preventative care and holistic well-being, PACE offers an array of services that include primary care, rehabilitation, transportation, nutrition, and much more—all tailored to meet the individual needs of each participant.

During this special event, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of how the PACE Your LIFE program at Milford Wellness Village uniquely supports older adults in the local community. The day will include:

• A Guided Walkthrough of the PACE Program: Discover how PACE helps participants live healthier, more fulfilling lives while staying in the comfort of their homes.
• Meet Our Team: Interact with our dedicated team of professionals who provide compassionate, high-quality care tailored to each participant.
• Tour Our Facility: Explore our state-of-the-art center and learn more about the services and amenities that set PACE Your LIFE apart.
• Q&A Session: Get answers to any questions you may have about the PACE program and how it can benefit you or a loved one.

Whether you’re a caregiver, a family member, or simply curious about how PACE works, this event is the perfect opportunity to experience the program up close and personal. Light refreshments will be served, and you’ll have the chance to connect with others in the community who share a passion for supporting older adults.

Milford’s largest annual outdoor festival, the Riverwalk Freedom Festival, is hosted by the Chamber of Commerce for Greater Milford to commemorate the anniversary of September 11, 2001. The one day event spans the entire downtown Milford area from Walnut Street to Bicentennial Park.

We will be posted at the Milford Senior Center from 9:00A-2:00P.

Visitors will find a variety of vendor stalls and educational exhibits too. Presentations on topics of interest to seniors will be held at various vendor’s booths throughout the day.

Learn about services and opportunities designed to allow seniors to remain in their own homes for as long as possible, including bathroom makeovers to increase safety for seniors by Herl’s Bath & Tile Solutions, financial advice from InFocus Financial Advisors and First Shore Federal to prepare and sustain a comfortable retirement.

Celebrate the 32nd Annual Apple Scrapple Festival in Bridgeville on the second weekend of October! This beloved event, born from a passion for local agriculture, showcases apples from T.S. Smith and Sons Farm and scrapple from the famous RAPA Scrapple plant. Enjoy two days of festivities, starting Friday at 4:00 PM with a carnival, food court, and street dance. Saturday features live entertainment, a car show, craft fairs, delicious food vendors, and more!
