PACE Your LIFE Participants Create Care Bags for the Homeless

PACE Your LIFE participants are making a meaningful impact for people who are homeless or home insecure. A few participants who are living with Dementia gathered essential items such as ponchos, hand sanitizer, emergency blankets, non-perishable snacks, toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, etc. Some of the donations were provided by Tidal Health, Beef Jerky Outlet, friends and neighbors.

This heartwarming initiative demonstrates the power of compassion, purpose, and community involvement, regardless of life’s challenges. The “PACE Pals” project began in the in 2025, and continues to make a difference in the community.

Most recently, participants gathered and delivered PACE Pals bags to those who attended the Thanksgiving celebration at Jusst Sooup on November 20th.

This project helps the participants living with dementia by stimulating their cognitive functions, using fine motor skills, providing a source of focus and building a sense of productivity. More importantly, this project gives them a sense of accomplishment and giving back to our society.
